West Monroe, LA

Funeral services for Mr. Glen Anderson, 86, of West Monroe, LA will be held at 
2:00 PM, Wednesday, June 23, 2010 in the chapel of Kilpatrick Funeral Home 
West Monroe. Rev. Neil Everett will be officiating. Interment will follow at 
Hasley Cemetery West Monroe under the direction of Kilpatrick Funeral Home.

Mr. Anderson was born January 1, 1924 in Standard, LA and passed away June 21, 
2010 in Ruston, LA.

He was preceded in death by his first wife, Dorothy Wilson Anderson and a 
granddaughter, Kira Dawn Anderson.

Mr. Anderson was a member of New Chapel Hill Baptist Church and served his 
country during World War II and the Korean Conflict as a United States Marine. 
He served as principal of Central, Okaloosa, Westside and Richardson Schools 
in Ouachita Parish.

He is survived by his wife, Montez Gilmore Anderson; son, Richard Glen 
Anderson and wife Karen; daughters, Darlene Anderson James and husband Rod, 
and Judy May and husband Jim; granddaughters, Raine Neilson and husband 
Andrew, Janna James, Mallory James, and Jeani Towns; grandsons, Casey 
Anderson, Bill James, Justin May, and Jeffrey May and wife Sandy; great-
granddaughters, Virginia Towns, Brooklyn Towns, and Cheyanne Butter; and great-
grandsons, Coleman Towns, and Big Ben Neilson.

Visitation will be Tuesday from 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM at Kilpatrick Funeral 
Home West Monroe, LA.
