CHARLES THOMAS ANDERSON

Charles Thomas Anderson, 87, passed peacefully in his sleep at his home on 
November 22, 2023. The youngest of seven children to Christian and Letha 
(Cupples) Anderson, he was born November 14, 1936 in Ouachita Parish, LA. 
Charles is survived by his wife of nearly 19 years, Carol Ewing Anderson, as 
well as numerous family members and loved ones.

Charles served in the United States Air Force, then worked for Pennzoil (Duval) 
Sulphur, and the Army Corp of Engineers. After retirement, Charles was an avid 
gardener and active member of Bismark United Methodist Church. In August 2023, 
he and Carol moved from Caddo Valley, AR to Winston-Salem, NC to be closer to 
family.

By his request, he was cremated and his ashes interred at Salisbury National 
Veterans Cemetery in Salisbury, NC.
