Mrs. Anding was born on September 1, 1926 in Iola, TX and passed away peacefully at her home on March 1, 2017. Lillie was a faithful wife of 58 years to her husband, Charles Anding. They married on July 16, 1945 in Velasco, TX before finally settling in West Monroe, where they raised their three children. Lillie and Charles enjoyed traveling during their marriage, taking numerous RV trips, cruises, and vacations all across the US and even to Europe. Lillie was an expert homemaker and it seemed there wasn't much she couldn't do. She was known for cooking the most wonderfully elaborate meals and desserts and for her love of gardening. Until her early 80's, Lillie could often be found in her garden planting tomatoes or weeding flowerbeds, even on the hottest of days. Her other hobbies were sewing, tennis, swimming, and camping with her husband and family. Lillie is preceded in death by her loving husband, Charles R. Anding; her parents, Elwood and Isabell Parnell; brothers, J.W. Parnell, Jack Parnell, and Bobby Parnell; and her sister, Daisy Hunsikar.
