MINNIE LEE ANTIE

Funeral service for Mrs. Minnie Lee Antie, 89, of Monroe, LA, will be held at 
1:00PM Thursday, April 21, 2016, in the chapel of Mulhearn Funeral Home Monroe 
with Rev. Donald Reeves officiating. Interment will follow at Mulhearn Memorial 
Park Cemetery.

Minnie Lee Antie was born of the union of Moses and Rebecca Mitchell, July 22, 
1926 and passed from this life Sunday, April 17, 2016 after a lengthy illness.

Mrs. Antie was a gentle, kind person who was a devoted mother and grandmother. 
She was known for fantastic cooking, especially fried chicken, cabbage rolls 
and chicken and dumplings. Every Sunday her family gathered at her home for 
Sunday meals. The highlight of her life was her children and grandchildren. She 
also enjoyed working in her yard and loved flowers.

Preceded in death by her husband, Tom E. Antie.

Survivors include her sons; Tommy Antie and wife Connie and Mike Antie; 
daughters; Norma Antie and Donna Antie; grandchildren; Stacey Antie, Tanya 
Antie husband David, Jason Rodriguez, Amy Smith husband Mike, Josh Rodriguez 
wife Simona, Tommy Semmes III and wife Stormy, Casey Antie, Christopher Caylor; 
great grandchildren; April Antie, Erin Antie, Cale Antie, Star Cruz, Blake 
Smith, Jon Smith, Kinsley Rodriguez, Harper Semmes; and great great 
grandchildren, Aubrie Gautreaux and Zeke Gautreaux.

Pallbearers will be Stacey Antie, Jason Rodriguez, Josh Rodriguez, Tommy Semmes 
III, Casey Antie, and David Cruz.

Honorary Pallbearers will be Cale Antie, Jon Smith, Blake Smith, Mike Smith and 
Tommy Semmes, Jr.

Special thanks to her niece, Celeste Robertson; Staff of Louisiana Hospice Care 
and Ridgecrest Nursing Home.

Visitation will be from 5:00PM until 7:00PM Wednesday, April 20, 2016, at 
Mulhearn Funeral Home.
