JOYCE JOAN BROWN AUSTIN
Kilpatrick Funeral Home, West Monroe, LA

Joyce Joan Brown Austin, age 64, died on Saturday, April 25, 2009, in Jackson, 
MS.

She is survived by her husband of almost 43 years, Donald M. Austin. She is 
also survived by her children: Stacie Albritton and husband, Erik; Stephanie 
Ward and husband, Michael; Russell Austin and wife, Chrystal; grandsons, Luke 
and Seth Albritton; sister, Mittie Ellis; brother, Charles Brown and wife, 
Janis; a very dear family friend: Martha Hopper; as well as numerous beloved 
relatives and friends.

Joyce was a longtime resident of Clinton, MS and attended Morrison Heights 
Baptist Church.

Visitation will be held at Lakewood Memorial Funeral Home on Clinton Boulevard 
from 2:00-5:00 PM today. Another visitation will be held on Tuesday, April 28, 
2009, at Pleasant Hill Church in her hometown of West Monroe, LA beginning at 
1:00 PM followed by her funeral service to be held at the church at 2:00 PM, 
under the local direction of Kilpatrick Funeral Home in West Monroe.
