BENNIE RAY AUSTIN

Memorial services for Bennie Ray Austin, Sr., 83, Monroe, LA will be held at 
1:00 PM, Sunday, January 25, 2015 at Kilpatrick Funeral Home Chapel West 
Monroe, LA. Pastor Don Mangum will officiate.

Mr. Austin was born December 31, 1931 in Hope, Arkansas and passed away January 
22, 2015 in Monroe, LA. He was a retired musician. Mr. Austin was preceded in 
death by his wife; Beatrice Austin; brothers; Earnest Austin, Jr., Homer 
Austin, Jerry Simpson; sisters, Vera Austin, Carla Nethery; granddaughter, 
Jennifer Austin.

He is survived by his son Bennie Austin and wife Kathy; daughter Donna Raustler 
and husband Kirke; brothers; James Simpson and Jimmy Simpson; sister, Betty 
Simpson; grandchildren; Scott McDonald, Julie Webb and husband Jason, Katrina 
Austin, Amanda Lacy, Tres Austin and wife Nicole, Jeremy Livingston and wife 
Tiffany, Lashay Flanagan and husband Chuck; great grandchildren; Jay McDonald-
Webb, Anisa Aldridge, Leyton Livingston, Kenadie Livingston, Laikleigh Austin, 
Ian Austin, Breanna Patterson and Ryleigh Patterson.

The family would especially like to thank Carolyn Edwards (niece), Wayne and 
Nell Hall, Nancy and Tracy Ferris, Charlie and Lorita Qwin for the love and 
care of our father.
