BEATRICE AUSTIN

Funeral services for Beatrice Austin will be held at 10:00 AM, Saturday, 
October 17, 2015 in the chapel of Kilpatrick Funeral Home West Monroe. Kevin 
Stewart will be officiating. Interment will follow at Mulhearn Memorial Park 
Cemetery under the direction of Kilpatrick Funeral Home West Monroe.

Longtime resident of West Monroe, Beatrice "Bea" Austin, 89, traveled to Heaven 
on October 14, 2015. Retired as a secretary from KNOE Radio and TV, Bea was 
preceded in death by her husband Conley. A member of McClendon Baptist Church, 
Bea lived her life serving others and putting self last. Bea was student of the 
Bible prophecy, and her life revolved around family, church, and friends; she 
loved a good game of Rook.

Bea is survived by sons: Dr. Bruce K. Austin (Diana), McKinney, Texas; Alan 
"Big Al" Austin (Ingrid), West Monroe; grandchildren: Jennifer Bettis (Hal); 
Seth Austin (Lara) all of Houston; Jacob Austin (Stacie), Angela Barrett 
(Jeremy), West Monroe; and 12 great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be held from 5:00 PM until 7:00 PM Friday, October 16, 2015, at 
Kilpatrick Funeral Home of West Monroe.
