West Monroe, LA

Funeral services for Mrs. Pearlie Lorena Hollis Austin, 75, of West Monroe, LA 
will be held at 10:00 AM Monday, April 20, 2009 in the Chapel of Kilpatrick 
Funeral Home, West Monroe, LA. Bro. Scott Thompson will officiate. Interment 
will follow at Clark Springs Cemetery under the direction of Kilpatrick 
Funeral Home West Monroe, LA.

Mrs. Austin was born January 12, 1934 in Union Parish and passed away April 
17, 2009 in Monroe, LA. Lorena moved to West Monroe after she married. She 
loved her family, cooking, and growing flowers. She worked at Brownville Bag 
Plant and later went to work for Monroe Manufacturing.

Lorena is survived by her 3 children; Rodney Austin and wife LaManna of 
Jacksonville, FL, Debra Averitte and husband Randy of West Monroe, and Michael 
Austin and wife Alison of Jacksonville, FL; one brother, James Hollis of 
Hodge, LA and one sister, Linda Aulds of Magnolia, AR, eleven grandchildren 
and fifteen great grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews and one special 
friend Ms. Bonnie Wade of Monroe.

Pallbearers will be Brandon Austin, Rodney Austin, Jr., Chris Hollis, Keith 
Hollis, Frankie Hollis, and Jordan Aulds.

Visitation will be from 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM Sunday, April 19 at Kilpatrick 
Funeral Home West Monroe, LA.
