AUTTONBERRY Funeral Services celebrating the life of Mrs. Fay E. Auttonberry, 91, of West Monroe, LA will be held at 2:00 P.M. Wednesday, May 13, 2015 at Ridge Avenue Baptist Church, West Monroe with Dr. Jim Wolf and Rev. Robin Roark officiating. Interment will follow in Roselawn Memorial Gardens Cemetery in Calhoun, LA. Fay passed away peacefully surrounded by her family into the loving arms of her Lord. Proverbs 31:10- Who can find a virtuous woman? For her price is far above rubies. Fay's life was dedicated to serving her Lord Jesus and she continuously loved and helped others. The best word to describe her was "selfless". From a young woman to the end, she served in her church with the children's choirs, young married classes, bible studies, and so much more. Faye was a Mary Kay consultant for 30 years. She loved helping her customers and received countless awards and recognition. She was an incredible wife, mother, sister, daughter and friend. She was preceded in death by her parents, Hyram and Edna Forbes; son, Thomas Wayne "Red" Auttonberry; Twin Brother, Ray Forbes; and Sister Lougene Davis Survivors include her husband of 73 years, Ellis Auttonberry; daughters, Billie Auttonberry Smallwood and husband, Russell, Pamela Auttonberry Poynter and husband Todd; brother, Thomas Edward Forbes and wife, Phyllis; sister, Billie Marie Payne and husband, W.L. She was blessed with 8 wonderful grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews. Pallbearers will be Herbert Otwell, Henry Chriceol, Fred Hall, Bill Black, Bobby Wheelis, and Ivy Ray Johnson. Honorary Pallbearers will be Calton Yeager, Billy Clement, Velton Frost, Sonny Bumgardner and Paul Johnston. Visitation will be held from 4:00PM until 7:00PM Tuesday May 12, 2015 at Mulhearn Funeral Home, West Monroe. Memorials may be made to the charity of your choice .
