DOWNSVILLE — Betty Avant, retired United Way of Northeast Louisiana clerk, 
died Wednesday. Services are 2 p.m. today at Point Assembly of God Church. 
Visitation is 1 p.m. until service time. Burial will be in Aulds Chapel 
Cemetery under the direction of Kilpatrick Funeral Home, West Monroe.
