IRMA MAE BABINEAU Kilpatrick Funeral Home West Monroe, LA Funeral services for Mrs. Irma Mae Babineau, 100, of Monroe, will be held at 2:00 P.M. on Tuesday, November 11th, 2008, in the 1st Assembly of God of West Monroe with Rev. Shane Warren, Rev. Butch Pilcher, and Rev. Ginger K. Gault officiating. Interment will follow in the Antioch Baptist Church Cemetery near Farmerville under the direction of the Kilpatrick Funeral Home of West Monroe. Born July 2nd, 1908, in Mangham, LA, a daughter of the late Patrick and Dora Pallette Childress, she passed away in Monroe on Saturday, November 8th, 2008. She was self-employed in sales and restaurant management for many years. Her husband, Ted Babineau, preceded her in death. Brothers Dawson, Felix, and Henry Childress, and sisters, Zola Savelle and Agnes Bryant, also preceded her in death. Survivors include a son, Charles Woolsey and wife, Caroline; daughters Louise Recktenwalt, Francis Hamilton, and Dorothy Hicks; 15 grandchildren; 24 great grandchildren; numerous great great grandchildren; sisters, Thelma Foreman and Katie Bea Parker; and a number of nieces and nephews. Pallbearers are Tim and Paul Woolsey, Dennis Smith, Chris and Jason Hicks, Chad Nolan, and Kevin Wehring. Visitation will be Monday evening, November 10th, 2008, from 5:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M. at the 1st Assembly of God of West Monroe, Cypress Street, West Monroe.
