Bud O'Neal officiating. Burial will follow in the Providence Memorial Cemetery. Visitation will be from 9-11am Tuesday at First Baptist Church, Lake Providence, LA. Mr. Bagbey was born January 15, 1930 and passed away August 6, 2016 in Lake Providence, LA. Mr. Bagbey served in the United States Army during the Korean War. He retired from the Department of Motor Vehicles and he was a member of The American Legion Post 37. Mr. Bagbey is preceded in death by his parents, Elmer Brooks and Hattie Aline Bagbey; brothers, Elmer Brooks Bagbey, Jr,, Thomas Miller Bagbey, and James Harvey Bagbey; and sister, Margaret Bagbey VanFossen. Survivors include his wife of 52 years, Linda Bagbey of Lake Providence, LA; son, Richard Bagbey and wife Tonya of Monroe, LA; grandchildren, Cole and Lacy Bagbey, numerous nieces and nephews and a host of dear friends. Pallbearers will be Cole Bagbey, Todd O'Neal, Joey Hopkins, Key Davis, David Coody and Joseph Hopkins. Honorary pallbearers will be Jesse Fulford, Robbie Bagbey, Ricky Bagbey, George Hopkins, Jay Hattaway, and the Gang at Bob's Auto.
