Interment will follow in Rayville Masonic Cemetery. Lillian Bagley was born on April 13, 1904 in Bay Springs, MS and passed away on Tuesday, August 19, 2008 in Monroe. Mrs. Bagley was the first woman Supply Officer appointed by the Louisiana State Police, when she lived in Baton Rouge. Earlier in her life, she worked for the Telephone Co. and the Louisiana State Hospital in Shreveport as a laboratory technician assistant. She was a member of Grace Baptist Church where she was a Sunday School teacher and worker for 25 years. Lillian was a former member of Ft. Miro Chapter of Daughters of the American Revolution. She was preceded in death by her husband, Jesse Herman Bagley. Survivors include her nephews and nieces, Harold Gallman and wife, Gloria of Rayville, Michael Gallman and wife, Stephanie of Bunkie, LA, Jerry Gallman and wife, Janet of Houston, Marilyn Hood and husband, Alan of Bossier City, Harry Pankey and wife, Carolyn of Monroe, John Cain of Monroe, Phillip Cain of Monroe, James Robert Cain of Monroe, James Alfred Gallman of Bossier City, and Jane Bickers and husband, Bob; and numerous great nieces and great nephews; care givers, Marie Edenhoff, Hattie Glenn, and Barbara Williams. Pallbearers will be Harold Gallman, Michael Gallman, Gary Freeland, Harry Pankey, John Cain, Kyle Gallman, Joe Pankey, Phillip Cain, James Alfred Gallman, and James Robert Cain. Honorary Pallbearers will be Edward E. Lockwood, A.B. Branch, Percell Green, R.B. Green, and Richard Rockett. Visitation will be 1:00 PM till 2:00 PM, Friday, at Brown Holley Funeral Chapel, Rayville. In lieu of flowers the family request donations to be made to the American Cancer Society.
