Angie died January 18, 2009 surrounded by her family and friends. Angie loved her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. She loved her family and friends. And she loved life. She was a fighter, an encourager, a loyal and trusted friend, a loving wife and mother, daughter and sister. She was steadfast in her faith, passionate about enjoying the little things of life, and kept a sense of adventure. With spunk and humor, she could bring to life what most considered mundane occurrences. Her unforgettable laugh and smile will remain with us forever. I will say of the Lord, "He is my refuge and fortress, my God in whom I trust." Psalm 91:2 Angie's fight of faith strengthened and transformed her, and led her on a journey of unwavering courage and confidence in Christ. In her last days on earth, Angie encouraged many to have faith and hope in Christ, and challenged us to consider our friends, and each day, as a gift. "Do you not know? Have you not heard? The Lord is the everlasting God, the Creator of the ends of the earth. He will not grow tired or weary, and his understanding no one can fathom. He gives strength to the weary and increases the power of the weak. Even youths grow tired and weary, and young men stumble and fall; but those who hope in the Lord will renew their strength. They will soar on wings like eagles; they will run and not grow weary, they will walk and not be faint." Isaiah 41: 28-31 Angie graduated from West Monroe High School. She held two degrees, Elementary Education and Graphic Design from Louisiana Tech. She was part-owner and was employed at JABAR Corporation in West Monroe. She married William (Bill) Bagley of Grand Cane, LA on March 21, 1998 and has two wonderful children ages nine and six and was a long-time member of First United Methodist Church in West Monroe. Survivors include her husband, William "Bill" Bagley; children, Matylyn Bagley and Will Bagley; parents, Bill and Betty Putnam; brothers, John Putnam and wife, Patricia, David Putnam and wife, Ramona, Randy Putnam and wife, Sylvia, and Bubba Putnam and wife, Julie; numerous nieces and nephews.
