Owens Memorial Chapel Funeral Home

Ruston, LA

Funeral services for Mr. Jeffery Allen "Jeff" Bailey, age 43 of Ruston, will 
be held at 2:00 PM Monday, August 11, 2008 at Christ Community Church in 
Ruston with Rev. Lynn Woods officiating. Burial will take place in Old 
Shongaloo Cemetery in Shongaloo 10:00 AM Tuesday August 12, 2008 under the 
direction of Owens Memorial Chapel Funeral Home of Ruston.

Jeff was born June 5, 1965 in Springhill to Cecil O. Bailey, Jr. and Martha 
Smith Bailey. He died August 8, 2008 in Ruston. He was a member and regular 
attendee of Christ Community Church as well as a member of the Sons of the 
American Revolution and the Ruston Kiwanis Club. In his spare time, Jeff 
enjoyed watching movies, collecting CDs eating out and being with his friends 
at Hair Associates Salon.

Jeff is survived by his brother, Marcus Bailey and wife Lynette of Ruston; 
nieces Shellie Fields, Karen Fields and Jeanette Jones; cousins Jennelle 
Boucher and Linda Kay Bannister as well as numerous other relatives.

He was preceded in death by his parents and half-brother Cecil O. Bailey, III.

Visitation will be held from 5:00 PM until 7:00 PM Sunday, August 10, 2008 at 
Owens Memorial Chapel Funeral Home in Ruston. Planned memorials may be made to 
the Children's and Youth Department of Christ Community Church.
