BAINES Funeral Services for Mr. Claude H. Baines, 92, of West Monroe, LA will be held at 10:30 A.M. Saturday, June 13, 2015 in the chapel of Mulhearn Funeral Home West Monroe, LA with Rev. Gordon "Skip" Dean and Rev. Ricky Baker officiating. Interment will follow in the Hasley Cemetery in West Monroe, LA. Mr. Baines served in Pearl Harbor during WWII as a Naval Civil Radar Technician and stayed in electronics all of his working life. He was an avid photographer and loved to photograph family and the great American West. Mr. Baines was a longtime member of Highland Baptist Church in West Monroe, LA. Mr. Baines was born on June 25, 1922 and passed away on June 10, 2015. He is preceded in death by his father, Claude Baines and mother, Nancy Ola Beason. Survivors include his wife of 67 years, Elaine Folds Baines; son, Claude Baines, Jr. and wife, Sheila; four grandchildren, Shelaine Reynolds (husband Lee), Dr. Johnathan Baines (wife Anna), Melissa Baines Haisty (Husband Ron), and Jennifer Kilpatrick (husband Britton); nine great grandchildren, Jessica Haisty, Jacob Haisty, Siriana Kilpatrick, Julian Kilpatrick, Nash Kilpatrick, Dove Kilpatrick, Elena Baines, Caedmon Baines, and Jace Baines; along with numerous nieces and nephews that lovingly referred to him as "Unc". Know that he loved you all very much. Pallbearers will be Ron Haisty, Jacob Haisty, Will Evans, Johnathan Baines, Britton Kilpatrick, and Gary Thomas. Visitation will be held from 9:15 A.M. until Service Time on Saturday at Mulhearn Funeral Home West Monroe, LA. Memorials may be made to the favorite charity of your choice . The family would like to give a special Thank You to Mr. Baines' walking buddy, Mr. Bill Greenlee and his longtime friend, Mr. Leo Townsend for always coming by and visiting with him every week.
