ETHEL BAIRD

Funeral services for Mrs. Ethel "Tena" Baird of Monroe will be held 10:00am 
Monday, October 10, 2016 in the chapel of Griffin Funeral Home, Monroe with 
Bro. Keith Evans officiating. Interment will follow at Coax Baptist Church 
Cemetery in Winnsboro under the direction of Griffin Funeral Home. 
Visitation will be from 5:00pm until 8:00pm Sunday, October 9, 2016 at the 
funeral home.

Mrs. Baird was born June 4, 1925 in Winnsboro, LA and passed from this life 
on October 6, 2016 in Monroe, LA at the age of 91.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Harmon E Baird and two sisters, 
Mary Jean Hatten and Wylonda Carroll.

Survivors include two sons, Eddie Baird and wife Linda and David Baird and 
wife Debbie all of Monroe; three brothers, R.Z. Johnson of Monroe, Jake 
Johnson and wife Charlanne of Lake Charles and Peyton Johnson and wife 
Shelley of Calhoun; two sisters, Linda Dear and Carolyn Nelson and husband 
Ray all of Monroe; three grandchildren, Jennifer, Jeremy and Shonda; five 
great-grandchildren, Nicholas, Gavin, Shayney, Tacy and Shelton; one great 
great-grandchild; also survived by a host of extended family and friends.

Pallbearers will be Jason Schuster, Nicholas Baird, Chris Johnson, Chad 
Johnson, Matthew Johnson and Joey Odom. Honorary Pallbearer will be Jeremy 
Baird.
