Angie Ballard Henson Skelton age 89 born in Pelican, LA , and formerly of 
Hattiesburg, MS, died Tuesday June 30, 2009 in Baton Rouge, LA.

Services for Mrs. Skelton will be Friday 11:00 Am Friday at Trinity Episcopal 
Church Parish Hall, in Hattiesburg, MS, with burial following in Roseland 
Parks Cemetery, arrangements are under the direction of Hulett-Winstead 
Funeral Home in Hattiesburg.

Mrs. Skelton is preceded in death by husbands: Edwin Brett Henson, Sr., and 
William Abner Skelton, Jr.; Parents, William Dudley and Mary Alice Ballard; 3 
Brothers, William Dudley Ballard, L.M. "Mac" Ballard, Basil Glen Ballard; and 
a sister Polly Ballard Harris.

Mrs. Skelton is survived by 2 sons: Edwin Brett Henson, Jr. of Bay St. Louis, 
MS and Andrew Ballard Henson of Tuscaloosa, AL: 2 daughters Marianne Henson 
Wellborn of Baton Rouge, LA and Melinda Henson Gray of Crockett, TX; 3 step 
children, William Abner Skelton, III, Charlotte Skelton Paul, and Dr. Thomas 
Nichols Skelton all of Jackson, MS: sixteen grandchildren and fiv e great-
children.

Memorials may be made to: The Carpenter House, St Joseph Hospice
