ERBA VICTOR BAMBURG Kilpatrick Funeral Home West Monroe, LA Services for Mr. Erba Victor Bamburg, age 83, of West Monroe, LA will be held at 2:00 PM, Wednesday, January 14, 2004 at Kilpatrick Funeral Home Chapel, West Monroe, LA with Rev. Bob Holloway and Rev. George Bonner officiating. Interment will be in Chatham City, Chatham, LA under direction of Kilpatrick Funeral Home, West Monroe. Mr. Bamburg died Saturday, January 10, 2004 in West Monroe, LA. During his life, Mr. Bamburg was an avid woodsman and gardener, Mr. Bamburg was a member of Long Hollow Hunting Club. He had a wonderful sense of humor, loved to tell stories and enjoyed playing dominoes with his hunting buddies down at the "office". He was well loved by his family and friends and will be sorely missed. He was preceded in death by his daughter, Vivian Bamburg; grandson, Robert Isaiah Hoffman and granddaughter, Tresa Lee Kinser. Survivors include: his wife of fifty-five years, Eldora Bamburg of West Monroe, LA; sons, Edwin of Pineville, LA and John Bamburg of West Monroe, LA; daughters, Jackie Talley and husband Jack of Madison, MS, Shelia Brown and husband John of Langley, AR, Linda Boyd and husband Dave of Aurora, CO, and Brenda Kinser and husband Ira of Westminister, CO; sisters, Nonie Nichols of CA, Nettie Jones of West Monroe, LA and Reca Jones of West Monroe, LA; brothers, Roland Bamburg of Vivian, LA and Johnny Bamburg and wife Mary of West Monroe, LA; sister-in-law, Elizabeth Bamburg of West Monroe, LA, sixteen grandchildren and eleven great grandchildren. Pallbearers will be Alton Harper, Joseph Bamburg, Rusty Fuller, Jacob Knighten, Jason Knighten, John Brandon Brown, and Ira Joseph Kinser.
