HOWARD BARBO

Funeral services for Howard Barbo, 81, of West Monroe will be held at 2:00 
PM, Wednesday, September 28, 2016 at McClendon Baptist Church. Dr. Kevin 
Stewart and Lt. Col. James Armstrong will officiate. Interment will follow 
at Roselawn Memorial Gardens under the direction of Kilpatrick Funeral Home 
West Monroe. 

Howard was born October 13, 1934 in Kinder, LA and passed away September 25, 
2016 in Monroe. He was a member of McClendon Baptist Church and served in 
the United States Air Force. He was employed by IBM for 33 years.

Howard is survived by his wife Brownie Barbo; daughter, Wendy Armstrong and 
husband Lt. Col. James Armstrong; grandson, Austin Armstrong; 
granddaughters, Alysse Armstrong and Ashlea Armstrong; brother, Eugene 
Barbo; sister, Lois Barbo Vige; niece, Jeanne Barbo Abernethy.

Pallbearers will be Austin Armstrong, Greg Granger, Jason Ott, Conrad 
Wangler, Jimmy Womack and Eric Vige. Honorary pallbearers will be Jim 
Merriweather, Shelby Watson, Joe Quarles and Eugene Barbo.

Visitation will be held Tuesday, September 27, 2016 from 5:00 PM until 7:00 
PM at Kilpatrick Funeral Home West Monroe.

In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to REACH at McClendon Baptist 

Church West Monroe.
