YVONNE K. BARHAM

Funeral services for Yvonne K. Barham, age 91, of Ruston will be held at 10:00 
AM Wednesday, January 21, 2015 at Kilpatrick Funeral Home in Ruston. 
Officiating the services will be Rev. Mike Holloway and Dr. Reggie Bridges. 
Interment will follow at Forest Lawn Cemetery under the direction of Kilpatrick 
Funeral Home in Ruston.

Mrs. Barham was born October 27, 1923 and passed away January 18, 2015.

She is preceded in death by her husband Paul Barham; and parents: Cecil and 
Carrie King.

Mrs. Barham, lovingly called "Dook" by her family and friends, retired from 
Bell South after over 30 years. Mrs. Barham led Sunday school classes and 
played piano for the Sunday School Departments. She also taught the young 
Sunday school class. She loved working with her flowers and gardening. She 
loved spending time with her family and as one of her grandchildren stated "She 
taught us how to live. Mrs. Barham enjoyed fishing, all her pet dogs and 
working crossword puzzles."

She is survived by her children: Curtis Barham and wife Martha of Ruston, Cecil 
Barham and wife Babs of Ruston and Steve Barham and wife Gail of Quitman; 
grandchildren: Melanie Wells and husband James, Craig Barham and wife Staci, 
Melissa Jackson and husband Justin, Heather Russell and husband Michael, Matt 
Barham and wife Amanda, Brooke Martin and husband Brad, Adam Barham and wife 
Natalie, Amanda Y. Barham, Carla Barham and Carrie Foshee and husband Matt; 
great grandchildren: Hannah, Haley and Bradley Wells, Thomas, Andrew, Ellie and 
Jordan Barham, Kate, John and Walker Jackson, Preston and Carlisle Russell, 
Ella Grace and Sawyer Barham, Abby, Nolan and Jase Martin and Sutton Kate 
Barham; brother: Max King and wife JoAnn; sister: Betty Smith; nieces and 
nephews: Desha King and Jason King, Carol Smith, Kay French and David Smith.

The family would like to extend a special thanks to Dr. William Sanders, 
Northern Louisiana Medical Center skilled nursing staff and caregivers Tonya 
and Cassandra.

Pallbearers will be Matt Barham, Brad Martin, Justin Jackson, Adam Barham, Matt 
Foshee, and James Payton.

Honorary Pallbearers will be Craig Barham, James Wells, Michael Russell and 
Howard Whitlock.

In lieu of flowers please make contributions to "Kingdom Kids" fund at Cook 
Baptist Church, Jack Graham Ministries or Temple Baptist Church TV Ministry.

Visitation will be held from 5:00 - 8:00 PM Tuesday, January 20, 2015 at 
Kilpatrick Funeral Home in Ruston.
