FAYE BARLEY P. Faye Barley, 89, died at her home in West Monroe, LA on 7th day, of November, 2015. A graveside service will be at 10:30 a.m. on Friday, November 13, 2015 in Mission Burial Park North Cemetery, San Antonio, TX. Visitation will be available from 10-10:30 a.m. at graveside before the service. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations go to the American Cancer Society . Faye was born in Post, TX. Following World War II, she moved to San Antonio where she worked at Lackland Air Force Base in the Base Post Office and later in Base Intelligence. It was during that time that she met and married Bill Barley. While raising her family, she served as school secretary in Harris Jr. High School, Woodlawn Elementary, and Maverick Elementary. Bill passed away in 1989. Some years later, Faye married B. F. Renfro. B.F. died about two years later. Following his death, Faye moved to West Monroe, LA to be near one of her children. She was a member of First Baptist Church, West Monroe, LA. She was preceded in death by her parents: Luther Homer Caffey and Mary Corene Caffey; siblings: Rosa Lee Magouirk, George L. Caffey, and Mart L. Caffey. She is survived by her brother, Rev. Mack Floyd Caffey of Corpus Christi; her children: Charles D. Barley presently of San Antonio, TX and David A. Barley of Sand Point, ID; nine grandchildren and three great grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews. Following internment in San Antonio, the family will return home to West Monroe. A Memorial will be held for the family and friends at First Baptist of West Monroe's Feazel Chapel at 10 a.m. on Monday, November 16, 2015.
