Services for Evelyn Gross Barnes, age 76,of West Monroe will be 10:00 AM, 
Tuesday, February 10, 2004 at Kilpatrick West Monroe Chapel with Dr. David 
Maxwell officiating. Interment will be in Roselawn Cemetery in Calhoun under 
the direction of Kilpatrick Funeral Home, West Monroe.
Mrs. Barnes died Saturday, February 7, 2004 at Glenwood Hospital.
Mrs. Barnes was a member of Ridge Ave. Baptist Church where she was active in 
senior adult activities. She was employed by Ouachita National Bank for over 
thirty-five years, where she retired as Vice President of the Consumer Loan 
Department. Mrs. Barnes was a member of the American Business Women's 
Associaton. She enjoyed traveling, gospel music, and the company of her friends 
and family.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Q.L. Barnes, Jr.
Survivors include her: children, Sandy Hill and husband Wes of West Monroe and 
Buster Barnes and wife Debbie of Calhoun; grandchildren, Shannon Vernon and 
husband Jamie of Nashville, TN and Steven Hill and wife Danielle of Marietta, 
GA and several nieces, nephews, other family and friends.
Pallbearers will be: Scott Tisdale, Richard Gross, Victor Gross, Charles Gross, 
DeWayne Enterkin and Glen Barnes.
Visitation will be 5:00 PM until 7:00 PM, Monday, Febraury 8, 2004 at 
Kilpatrick Funeral Home in West Monroe.
Memorials may be made to Ridge Ave. Baptist Church in West Monroe.
