He left this earth on April 17, 2012 in Houston, Texas after a long battle with cancer. Sam was an entrepreneur and craftsman owning a sheet metal/HVAC business for over 20 years. He also worked as a rural mail carrier for more than 20 years until his retirement in 2005. He was an avid outdoorsman and loved hunting and fishing. He enjoyed being outside and working on anything you would put in front of him, which happened a lot because his family considered him a Master of all trades. Sam did so much as a son, brother, husband, and dad. He was a loving companion and mentor and always a source of strength and motivation to his family and friends.
