DONALD RAY BARNETTE

Donald Ray Barnette of Tyler, TX formerly of Monroe, LA was born May 30, 1938 
in Delhi, LA. Don was the oldest son of Fred and Christine Post Barnette.

On November 18, 1961 he married his sweetheart Mildred Ann Popchoke in 
Simsboro, LA. They lived in Monroe for many years.

Don was predeceased by his parents and a granddaughter Jennifer Holloway and 
son-in-law Brian Mcquillin.

He is survived by his wife of 51 years Mildred, three children Kristie Cash and 
husband Lucky, Melissa McQuillin and fiancé Eddie Bull, and Michael Barnette 
and fiancé Juanita Cecil, and daughter in law Rita Barnette, Grandchildren, 
Brandon and wife Katie, Bradley, Ben and Brent McQuillin, John and Jake 
Barnette, Meaghan and Chris Chunn and Carter Cash, 5 Great grandchildren, two 
brothers, Sam and his wife Kathy, Jerry and his wife Judy as well as many 
nieces and nephews.

Donald loved to fish, bowl and was an avid sports fan. He was active in 
supporting all school sports and his grandson's baseball teams.

Memorial Service to be held at Franklin Street Church of Christ in Farmerville, 
LA, Sunday, March 17, 2013, at 2:00 p.m.
