THOMAS DANIEL JR. BASKIN


Funeral Services for Thomas Daniel "Tom" Baskin, Jr. will be held at 2:00 P.M. 
Saturday, February 9, 2013 at Emmanuel Baptist Church in Ruston, LA with Rev. 
Danny D. Baskin, Dr. Michael Hawley and Dr. Edward North officiating. 
Interment to follow in Kilpatrick Serenity Gardens in West Monroe, LA, under 
the direction of Mulhearn Funeral Home, West Monroe.

Thomas Daniel "Tom" Baskin, Jr. was born September 25, 1933 and passed away on 
February 6, 2013. Tom was an avid golfer and loved woodworking. Also, he was a 
bull rider in his younger days. Mr. Baskin is preceded in death by his wife, 
Noma Jean Baskin and son-in-law, Eddie Thomas.

Mr. Baskin is survived by his daughter, Angel Thomas; son, Danny D. Baskin and 
wife, Ferrell; grandchildren, Jurdon, McClain, Blake, Isaac, Daniel, Laura, 
and Melissa and great grandchild, Autumn.

Pallbearers will be his grandsons, Jurdon, McClain, Blake and Isaac Thomas, 
Daniel Baskin and Mitchell Person. 

Honorary Pallbearers will be Carol Joiner, Burl Palmer, I.H. Tidwell and Red 
Walker.

Visitation will be held from 6:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M. Friday, February 8, 
2013 at Emmanuel Baptist Church in Ruston, LA.

Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society or Emmanuel Baptist 
Church.
