Sterlington Road, Monroe, LA

Funeral services for Mrs. Jeffie Hope (Robeaux) Battaglia, 90, of Edmond, OK 
formerly of Monroe, LA, will be held at 2:00 PM Friday, June 5, 2009, at Lea 
Joyner Memorial United Methodist Church with Rev. Weldon Bares, Rev. Joe 
Solomon, and Rev. Betty Swanson officiating. Interment will follow at 
Riverview Cemetery under the direction of Mulhearn Funeral Home, Sterlington 
Road, Monroe.

Mrs. Battaglia was born August 4, 1918 in Oak Ridge, LA to Hope (Wimberly) and 
A. L. Robeaux. Jeffie went to be with the Lord on June 1, 2009. She was a long-
standing member of Lea Joyner Memorial United Methodist Church.

Jeffie was preceded in death by her parents, husband (Anthony T. Battaglia), 
and brother (Johnny Robeaux).

Survivors include her brother, William A. Robeaux and wife Betty; her sister-
in-law, Mary Robeaux; her nieces, Michelle Friedel and husband George, and 
Judy Bowyer and husband Steve; her three nephews, John A. Robeaux and wife 
Becky, James Wayne Robeaux and wife Rebecca, and John Robeaux and wife 
LaDonna; as well as a host of other relatives and friends.

Visitation will be held Thursday from 5:00 PM until 7:00 PM at Mulhearn 
Funeral Home, Sterlington Road, Monroe.
