BAUGH Funeral services for Mrs. Bessie P. Baugh, age 64, will be held at 10:00 am, Wednesday, November 4, 2015, at the Walnut Road Baptist Church, Springhill, Louisiana, with Rev. Jake Vandenberg officiating. Interment will follow in Oak Ridge Baptist Cemetery, under the direction of Bailey Funeral Home. Graveside services will then be held at 2:30 pm at Oak Ridge Baptist Cemetery, Oak Ridge, LA. Visitation will be held Tuesday, November 3, 2015, 5:00 pm - 8:00 pm at Walnut Road Baptist Church in Springhill. Mrs. Baugh was born on February 3, 1951 to Woodrow Wilson Smith and Dorothy Mae Humphrey Smith in Monroe, LA and passed away on Sunday, November 1, 2015 in Shongaloo, LA. Mrs. Baugh was a resident of Shongaloo, La since 1985 and was a faithful member of Walnut Road Baptist Church. She worked for the U. S. Postal service for over 38 years and was a rural mail carrier. She loved knitting and was a very talented seamstress. She will be remembered as a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother. She is survived by her husband of 47 years, Jim Baugh, Sr.; daughter, Melisa Baugh Mouser and husband, Scott of Minden, LA; two sons, Jim Baugh Jr. and wife, Shelly of Springhill, LA, John Wayland Baugh of Shreveport, LA; five grandchildren, Lynnzie Baugh, Kaci Cheatham and husband, Brayden, Dustin Mouser, Jordan Baugh, Jon Jon Baugh; great-grandchildren, Ryan, C.J. and Mary Blake; two brothers, Martin Smith of Sapulpa, OK, Terry Smith of Mer Rouge, LA; sister, Linda Stockman and husband, Lamar; a number of nieces and nephews. Mrs. Baugh was preceded in death by parents; brother, Cal Smith, and a sister, Diane Kelly. Pallbearers will be Dustin Mouser, Brayden Cheatham, Lamar Stockman, Woodrow Kelly, Gary Sexton, and Ronnie Leonard. Honorary pallbearers will be J. J. Baugh, James Don Mouser and Howard Ratliff.
