SARA ORENE COBB BAYLES

Funeral services for Sara Orene Cobb Bayles, 99, of West Monroe will be held 
at 10:00 AM, Wednesday, March 12, 2014 at Fair Park Baptist Church with Rev. 
Waymond Warren officiating. Interment will follow at New Chapel Hill Cemetery 
under the direction of Kilpatrick Funeral Home, West Monroe.

Sara Orene Cobb Bayles was born June 8, 1914 and passed away March 9, 2014 at 
home. She was a very sweet and loving person, a wonderful mother and 
grandmother and loved spending time with her family. She was preceded in death 
by her parents, Leander and Clara Cobb, a sister, Carolyn Jowers, a brother, 
Wesley Cobb and a son, William E. Bayles, Jr. She loved Fair Park Baptist 
Church where she was a charter member.

Sara is survived by her daughter, Judy Barfield and husband Charles; six 
grandchildren Lisa Guidry and husband Jimmy Barfield and wife Lisa, Chad 
Barfield and wife Jennie, Dean Bayles, Barry Bayles and wife Tammy, Sandra 
Snide and husband, Richard; 14 great-grandchildren, five nieces and 9 nephews; 
brother, Charlie Cobb and wife Ethel and brother-in-law, John Jowers.

Pallbearers will be her nephews, Charles Cobb, Tim Cobb, Chris Cobb, Robert 
Cobb, Richard Cobb and Ronnie Cobb.

Donations may be made to Fair Park Baptist Church for Pro Vision.

A special thanks to all the staff at St. Joseph Hospice for all their 
wonderful care for my mother and family.

Visitation will be held Tuesday from 5:00 pm until 7:00 pm at Kilpatrick 
Funeral Home West Monroe.
