Memorial services for Mrs. Julia K. Beal of Jonesboro, LA will be 10:30 AM 
Friday, April 1, 2016 at St. Lucy's Catholic Church in Hodge, LA with Father 
Pat Madden officiating. Visitation will be from 9:30 AM until time of service 
Friday at the church. Arrangements are under the direction of Griffin Funeral 
Home West Monroe.

Mrs. Beal was born November 6, 1942 in Pine Bluff, AR and passed from this life 
on March 30, 2016 in West Monroe, LA at the age of 73. She was retired school 
teacher from the Jackson Parish School System, former Woman of the Year in 
Jackson Parish, and was a current employee of the Jackson Parish Sheriff's 
Department.

She is preceded in death by her husband, James E. Beal and her parents, Ione 
and Roy Suttle.

Survivors include her son, Harlan E. Harvey, Jr. and one brother, Henry Suttle, 
and a host of extended family and friends.

In lieu of flowers, the family has requested that memorials be made in her 
honor to St. Lucy's Catholic Church in Hodge, LA.
