ELVA LORRAINE MCMULLEN BECKLEY


Elva Lorraine McMullen Beckley, 79, of Dubach, LA, passed away Thursday, 
September 07, 2017 at her home. A graveside service will be held at 10:00 AM 
on Tuesday, September 12, 2017 at Mulhearn Memorial Park in Monroe, LA under 
the direction of Kilpatrick Funeral Home of Ruston. Bro. Greg Tipton will 
officiate.

Lorraine was born in Monroe, LA on July 27, 1938 to William Houston and Lee 
Ella Brown McMullen. She was a member of Mineral Springs Baptist Church.

Lorraine was preceded in death by her parents, her husband of 52 years Henry 
Beckley, Jr.; grandson, Eddie Dykes; brothers, Jack McMullen and William 
McMullen; sister-in-law, Bobbie McMullen, brother-in-law, Lavelle Hopkins, 
and nephew, Ricky McMullen.

Survivors left to cherish her memory are sister, Belvalene Hopkins of 
Bossier City, LA; daughters: Belinda Knox (Darryl) of Columbia, LA; Cyndy 
Ellis (Mike) of Delhi, LA, Melissa Kochis of Las Vegas, NV, and Pam Franklin 
of Ruston, LA; grandchildren: Matthew Knox of Columbia, LA, Brandi Fields 
(Ray) of Columbia, LA, Tony Ellis of Oklahoma City, OK, Adam Bryant of 
Shreveport, LA ,Kendra Williams (Chris) of Wisner, LA, Henry Ellis of Delhi, 
LA, Christanee Bryant of Wasilla, AK, Emily Ware (Phillip) of Ruston, LA, 
Samantha Beasley (Stephen) of Ruston, Jason Ellis of Farmerville, La, and 
Jessica Baxter of West Monroe, LA. Great grandchildren are Christian Baxter, 
Mersadies Fields, Trey Fields, Madilynne Fields, BreAnna Knox, and Macy Knox 
of Columbia, LA; Carsyn Williams and Kip Williams of Winnsboro, LA; Abigail 
Ware and Maddi Ware of Choudrant, LA; and Carolina Hedgepath and Georgia 
Beasley of Dubach, LA; and sister-in-law, Dorothy McMullen of Huntsville, 
AL.
