CHARLES MICHAEL BELL

Charles Michael (Mike) Bell of Monroe, Louisiana (formerly of Bastrop, 
Louisiana) died September 19, 2012 at Saint Francis Medical Center. Mike was 
born March 7, 1946, in Bastrop, Louisiana.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Gloria and Mike Bell.

Mike attended Louisiana State University and was a graudate of Northeast 
Louisiana University. He had taught school in Morehouse Parish. Mike was a 
lifelong faithful member of First United Methodist Church in Bastrop.

Mike is survived by his siblings: Margie Bell Christian of New Orleans; 
Nerissa Bell Bryant (John) of Monroe; Katie Bell Knight (David) of Humble, 
Texas; Gloria Bell Markle (Edward) of New Orleans; John David (Cathy) of 
Benton; and numerous nieces and nephews.

The family is grateful to the following medical professionals: L.S.U. Medical 
Center in Shreveport; Dr. Richard O'Donovan; Dr. Ekam Anumele; Saint Francis 
SICU; Dr. Frank Weinholt; and Oaks Nursing Home.

Mike chose to leave his body to Louisiana State University Medical Center in 
Shreveport, Louisiana, for medical education and research.

The family will hold a private memorial service.

Memorials may be made to First United Methodist Church in Bastrop, Louisiana, 
or a charity of your choice.
