BEATRICE BELL Miller Funeral Home - Monroe, LA Services for Mrs. Beatrice Bell, 87, of Monroe will be held at 1:00 PM, Monday, October 3, 2005, in the Chapel of Miller Funeral Home in Monroe, LA with Rev. William Sanders officiating. Interment will follow in Richwood Memorial Gardens under the direction of Miller Funeral Home. Mrs. Bell passed away on Wednesday, September 28, 2005 at St. Francis Medical Center. Mrs. Bell was born in Jackson Parish, LA on March 17, 1918 to Homer and Eunice Burks. She married Willie Lee Bell and to this union was born one daughter. She worked many years at the Cascio family restaurants and retired from the Ramada Inn in Monroe, LA. She was a resident of the Oaks Nursing Home at the time of her passing. Survivors include her daughter Willie B. Welch of Monroe, LA; granddaughter Joan D. Welch of Warwick, RI; brothers Robert Burks of Bay City, MI, Howard Burks of Lake Charles, LA and Marvin Burks of West Monroe, LA; numerous nieces, nephews and a host of friends. Visitation will be Sunday, October 2, 2005 from 1:00 PM until 4:00 PM at Miller Funeral Home in Monroe.
