Preceding him in death were: his parents; his sister, Clarice; and his brothers, Frank and Joe Ples entered into eternal rest on Tuesday, January 31, 2017. He will be truly missed for his kindness and generosity. Ples graduated from Southern University with BS and MA Degrees with Further Study at USM and NLU. He was a 1st Lieutenant in the US Army, past president of the Tensas Parish Policy Jury, Board Member - LaSalle Community Action Association, Incorporated, Certified State Teacher Assessor Retired Principal - Davidson High School, President - Saint Joseph Voters' League and lifetime member of Pride of Saint Joseph Lodge #59 F and AM, PHA. Ples leaves to mourn: his wife, Deloris; his daughter Allayne; and three granddaughters, Eryn, Jadyn, and Jazlyn. Many nephews and nieces and cousins and friends.
