IMA JEAN BENNETT

Funeral services for Mrs. Ima Jean Bennett 86, of Spearsville, Louisiana 
will be at 11:00 AM Wednesday, October 29, 2014 at Antioch Church of Christ 
in Spearsville with Tommy Bennett, Paul Dunn and Dennis Gage officiating. 
Interment will follow in Antioch Cemetery under direction of Kilpatrick 
Funeral Home in Farmerville. Visitation will be from 6:30-9:00 PM Tuesday, 
October 28, 2014 at the church.

Mrs. Bennett was born on June 13, 1928 in Lillie, Louisiana and passed from 
this life on October 25, 2014 in Bernice, Louisiana. She was a member of 
Antioch Church of Christ for many years and loved to share her faith and the 
plan of salvation with others. She was a dental assistant for many years and 
was a homemaker during the years her children were growing up.

She is preceded in death by her husband of 61 years, James D. (J D) Bennett. 
Left to cherish her memory is her daughter Bonnie Lewis and husband Roy 
Lewis of Lincolnton Ga., two sons David Bennett and wife Gina of 
Spearsville, La., and Randy Bennett and wife Rebecca of Junction City, Ar., 
Grandchildren, Kristen Francis and husband Bryan of Evans, Ga., Elizabeth 
Long of Lincolnton Ga., Brooke Ownby and husband Jon of Bernice, La, Amber 
Upshaw and husband Clint of Farmerville, La, Kaela Bennett of Shreveport, 
La, Megan Bennett and Rob Alexander of Spearsville, La; Great- Grandchildren 
Bennett Boswell, Banks Boswell, Sarah Beth Francis, Russell Bennett 
Alexander, Lane Upshaw, Meela Upshaw, Layla Ownby and Isaiah Ownby, Brother-
in-laws, Billy Bennett and wife Frances and Frankie Bennett and wife Erma 
all of Spearsville, La, and a host of special nieces, nephews, cousins and 
friends.

Pallbearers are Dennis Warner, Ted Nichols, Paul Bennett, Brad Risinger, 
Randy Post, and Rodney Smith.

In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the Antioch Cemetery Fund, 13 
Boundary RD. Spearsville, La. 71277
