AVO BERRY


Funeral services for Avo Berry, 92, of West Monroe will be held at 10:00 AM, 
Thursday, May 3, 2012 in the chapel of Kilpatrick Funeral Home West Monroe. 
Bro. Milton Pray and Bro. Eddy Shoemaker will be officiating. Interment will 
follow at Hasley's Cemetery West Monroe, LA under the direction of Kilpatrick 
Funeral Home West Monroe.

Mrs. Berry was born October 22, 1919 in Eros, LA and passed away April 30, 
2012 in West Monroe. She was a member of Peniel Baptist Church and was a 
retired cafeteria manager for the Ouachita Parish School system. Mrs. Berry 
was preceded in death by her husband, William Henry Berry, a son, Jerry Glen 
Berry and an infant daughter, Linda Ann Berry.

Mrs. Berry is survived by her son William Wayne Berry and wife, Lynda; 
granddaughters; Jamie Brooks and husband Mark, Kim Moore and husband Wayne; 
grandsons; Ken Berry and wife Michelle, Taylor Berry, Jay Berry and wife Penny 
and Jeremy Berry and wife Bridgette; 9 great-grandchildren and 2 great-great-
grandchildren.

Pallbearers will be Taylor Berry, Jay Berry, Jeremy Berry, Ken Berry, Wayne 
Moore and Mark Brooks.

Visitation will be held Wednesday from 5:00 pm until 8:00 pm at Kilpatrick 
Funeral Home West Monroe, LA
