Mulhearn Funeral Home West Monroe, LA Funeral Services for Mr. Kenneth Lee Berry Sr., 72, of West Monroe, LA will be held at 10:00AM Thursday, August 3, 2006 in the chapel of Mulhearn Funeral Home West Monroe, LA with Rev. Rick Crandall officiating. Burial will be in the Mulhearn Memorial Park Cemetery in Monroe, LA. Mr. Berry died on July 31, 2006 at the Cornerstone Hospital in West Monroe, LA after a lengthy illness. He was an engineer with the Arkansas and Louisiana, Missouri Railroad for thirty years. Mr. Berry served in the United States Army during the Korean War. He loved to cook. He also was a 32 degree Mason and former Past Master of the Graham Surghnor Masonic Lodge # 383. Mr. Berry is preceded in death by his wife, Mary Beth Monroe Berry; daughter, Dianne Berry Greer; and his parents, Orlean and William Gray Berry. Survivors include his daughters, Carol Waggoner and husband, Mike of Slidell, LA, June Tettleton and husband Nicky of Farmerville, LA; son, Ken Berry Jr. of West Monroe, LA; grandchildren, Teri Waggoner, Amy Waggoner, Misty Jones, Adell Johnson and husband Brian, Ashley Tettleton and Brooke Greer; two great grandchildren, Madison Waggoner and Cameron Landry; sister, Louise Hennen and husband Benson; brothers, Buddy Berry and wife Violet, Ned Berry and wife Elva Dean, Joe Berry and wife Lillie Ann; numerous nieces and nephews. He is also survived by his companion, Mona Jowers. Pallbearers will be Jim Harrison, Gene Berry, Bill Berry, Keith Berry, Zach Sheehan, and Billy Townsend. Honorary pallbearers will be Carroll Townsend, Les White, and Harvie Eady. Visitation will be from 5:00PM until 9:00PM Wednesday, August 2, 2006 at Mulhearn Funeral Home West Monroe. Memorials may be made to the Louisiana Baptist Children's Home or the Shriners Hospitals for Children.
