Mulhearn Funeral Home West Monroe, LA 

Graveside Services for Mary Eugenia Betts, 93, of West Monroe, former resident 
of Shreveport, LA, will be held at 10:00 AM Tuesday, July 7, 2009 at the 
Centuries Memorial Garden in Shreveport, LA with the Rev. Billy Pierce 
officiating. Mrs. Betts passed away at the West Monroe Guest House on Friday, 
July 3, 2009. She was a member of the Covenant Presbyterian Church. She was 
preceded in death by her parents, David Walter Williams and Alma Hammond 
Williams; husband, Willie Thomas Betts; son, Walter Thomas Betts. Survivors 
include her daughter-in-law, Carolyn Betts of West Monroe, LA; grandson, 
Wendell Betts and wife Stefanie Thissen-Betts of West Monroe, LA; 
granddaughter, Lucinda Honeycutt and husband Mike of Pflugerville, TX; six 
great grandchildren, Heather Betts of Natchez, MS, Megan Robicheaux of 
Metairie, LA, Jamie Thissen-Betts and Svenja Betts of West Monroe, LA, Ethan 
and Adam Honeycutt of Pflugerville, TX; and three great great grandchildren, 
Gabriella, Marissa, and Jacob. Visitation will be held from 5:00 PM until 7:00 
PM Monday at Mulhearn Funeral Home, West Monroe. Online Registry/Condolences:
