She was born February 24, 1925 in Jasper, Alabama to Pervie and Ludie Calloway and passed away Saturday, July 26, 2008 at StoneyBrook Memory Care Assisted Living in West Monroe, LA. She was a faithful member of Jackson Street Church of Christ. Mrs. Billings retired after 40 years, working first for Brown Paper Mill in the bag plant and retiring as a Plant Supervisor for Manville Corp. She enjoyed gardening, baking, traveling and camping. Most of all she loved being with family and spoiling her grandchildren. In later years, after retirement she took up oil painting.
