Interment will follow at Crossroad Cemetery, Grayson, LA. On Thursday, August 27, 2009 our beloved Joshua Shaun Black (aka) "Inkspot" left this world to be with our Lord and Savior. At the tender age of 7 while at Sunday School, he requested of his teacher that he wished to pray and be accepted by the Lord. Josh took great pride in the fact that he was born of Cherokee and Choctaw descent and spoke of it often. He was a professional disc jockey and owner of Platinum Audio Works of West Monroe. Josh was an artist in his own right. His words created from the fiery spirit that stirred from within made him stand out and above many. His talent as an entertainer sustained much energy. He had a profound interest for martial arts and found much solace in the artistry of it. His mentor and friend was Debs Laird. His warmth and love for everyone was overwhelming. He wanted to do well and succeed. He wanted recognition for his remarkable abilities in his music and artistry of work, but most of allő he just wanted to be loved. He is preceded in death by "Paw", Ronnie Dickey. He is survived by his mother, Stephanie Howard of Dallas; father, Tommy Black and wife Helen of Georgetown; special parents, Maime-Naomi and Pop Kenny Goulart of West Monroe; son, Kasen; uncle, Dean Howard; grandmother, Linda Howard Brown; step grandfather, Ronnie Brown; grandfather, Harold Howard, Sr.; step grandmother, Linda Howard; great grandpaw, Pete Parker; and a host of loving aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, step siblings, and wonderful friends. Pallbearers will be Michael Ray, Jim Black, Craig and Greg Culberson, Marcus Hawthorne, Ashley Malone, Jarod Miletello and Billy Hern. Honorary pallbearers will be Marc Bigelow, Ray Middlebrooks, Zach Parnell, Nick Beza, Tim Gallien, Jessie Miletello, and Kendall Franklin.
