ROY H. BLEDSOE

Funeral services for Roy H. Bledsoe, 73, of West Monroe will be held at 
10:00AM, Saturday May 9, 2015 at First Baptist Church West Monroe with Rev. 
Michael Wood and Dr. Woods Watson officiating. Interment will follow at Hasley 
Cemetery West Monroe under the direction of Kilpatrick Funeral Home West 
Monroe.

Roy was born September 19, 1941 in Monroe, LA and passed away May 6, 2015 in 
West Monroe. He was retired from Entergy after 38 years of service and was also 
an Air Force veteran. Roy was a member of First Baptist Church where he served 
as a deacon.

Roy is survived by his wife, Patricia (Pat) Bledsoe; son, Eric Bledsoe and wife 
Kim; daughter, Kyle Smiley and husband Jon; grandchildren; Olivia Smiley, 
Cameron Smiley, Sophia Bledsoe, Emily Bledsoe and extended family and friends.

Pallbearers will be Tommy Smith, Joe Dean, Mickey Fontana, Edwin Price, Richard 
Bradley and Scott Miller.

Serving as honorary pallbearers will be Pathfinders Sunday School Class at 
First Baptist Church West Monroe.

Memorials may be made to The American Heart Association or Louisiana Baptist 
Children's Home.

Visitation will be held Friday, May 8, 2015 from 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM at 
Kilpatrick Funeral Home West Monroe.
