JANE SCROGGIN BOLTON

Funeral services for Jane Scroggin Bolton will be held on Monday, January 24, 
2011, at 2:00 PM at Edmonds Funeral Home Chapel in Jonesboro. Rev. Bill 
Strawbridge and Rev. Letty Strawbridge will be officiating. Interment will 
follow in the Jonesboro Cemetery.

Visitation will be held on Sunday, January 23, 2011, from 4:00 PM - 7:00 PM at 
Edmonds Funeral Home in Jonesboro.

Mrs. Bolton was born August 1, 1927, and passed away on January 21, 2011. She 
was 83.

Survivors include her husband, David C. Bolton of Jonesboro and one daughter, 
Pamela Jane Bolton of Hendersonville, NC.

Mrs. Bolton was a lifelong resident of Jonesboro and a lifelong member of 
Jonesboro United Methodist Church. She was a longtime member of the Jonesboro-
Hodge Study Guild and had served as board member for the Jackson Parish unit 
of the American Caner Society for over 50 years. She had an undergraduate 
degree and a masters plus 30 in education from Louisiana Tech University. Mrs. 
Bolton retired from teaching in 1977 after 30 years spent at Rundell 
Elementary and Jonesboro-Hodge High School.

Services are under the direction of Edmonds Funeral Home in Jonesboro.
