HUGH ERNEST BOND

Funeral services for Hugh Ernest Bond will be at 2:00 P.M., Monday, June 15, 
2015 in the chapel at Kilpatrick Funeral Home in West Monroe. Pastor James 
Burns and Pastor James Gardner will officiate. Interment will follow at Mt. 
Zion Cemetery in Calhoun.

Mr. Bond was born April 3, 1940 in Yazoo, MS and became an angel in heaven on 
June 12, 2015. He was a member of McClendon Baptist Church and retired from the 
Louisiana Department of Transportation after 35 years of service. Mr. Bond 
worked another ten years at Tri-Star Graphics in Monroe. He is preceded in 
death by his parents, Hugh McBride Bond and Lydia Viola Manor Bond.

Mr. Bond is survived by his wife of 55 years, Patricia Allen Bond; daughters, 
Teresa Bond, MeLisa Bond, and Sandra Bond Wittner; grandson, Michael Bond and 
wife, Tiffany; great grandson, Aiden Thane Bond; sister, Judy VanGorder and 
husband, Dale of Yazoo City, MS; brothers, Larry Bond and wife Patsy of Ruston, 
LA and Herbert Bond and wife, Jymme of Yazoo City, MS; brother-in-law, Wayne 
Allen and wife Annie of Calhoun, LA; sisters-in-law, Patsy Robinson and husband 
Bob of West Monroe and Bonnie Dow and husband James of Calhoun, LA. Along with 
a host of nieces, nephews, and friends.

The family would like to thank all the family and friends for all the calls, 
cards, and prayers. As Ernest Bond always said, "Ain't God good!"

Pallbearers will be Ronnie Williams, Dennis Litzsinger, Jay Naron, Hunter 
Robertson, Daniel Powell and Shane Polk. Honorary pallbearers will be brother-
in-laws and the men of Jim Merriweather's Sunday School Class.

Visitation will be Sunday, June 14, 2015 from 5:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M. at 
Kilpatrick Funeral Home, West Monroe.
