Bruce was born on August 8, 1948 in West Monroe, LA and passed away on April 6, 2016 in West Monroe, LA. He was preceded in death by his father, R. J. Booth. Bruce was an avid sportsman. He loved to hunt, fish, and run dogs. He loved his family and friends. He was a retired plumber, business owner of Twin City Plumbing of 40 years. He is survived by his mother, Minnie Booth; daughter Michelle Speller and husband, Eddie; son, Thad Booth and wife Jenny; sisters, Shirley Salsbury and husband, Carl, Brenda Sweet and husband, Steven, Peggy Stuckey and husband, Earl; grandchildren, Emily Knighten, James Speller, Austin Booth, Abigail Booth, Makenna Booth; great-grandchildren, Bradley Dean Knighten, Charlie Reese Speller; special nephew, Zachary Gilbert; numerous nieces, nephews and friends. There will be a visitation from 4:00 PM until 8:00 PM, Friday, April 8, 2016 at the Pentecostals of the Twin Cities, West Monroe, LA. Pallbearers will be: Joey Brown, David Brown, Wayne Moore, Marty Moore, James Speller, Trey Knighten, and Adam Robert. Honorary pallbearers will be: Jack Taylor, Troy Lynch, Roger Rutledge, Wayne Buchans, Jerry Bailey, Tommy McClain, Mike Burke, and Bobby Booth. The family would like to give a special thanks to all the CNA's and Nurses at Ridgecrest Nursing Home for all their special care and kindness they showed to both Bruce and his family. Special thanks also to Louisiana Hospice for all the care they gave and support to our family.
