Lonnie Stewart officiating. Interment will follow in Hasley Cemetery in West Monroe. Mr. Bostick passed away at home on Thursday, July 2, 2009. Mr. Bostick retired from the Louisiana Department of Health and Hospitals in 1999 after 28 years of service; the last 23 years he was the administrator of E. A. Conway Memorial Hospital in Monroe. He was a member of the First Baptist Church of West Monroe and the Campfire Campers. He was preceded in death by his parents, George T. Bostick and Sibyl D. Bostick; sister, Shirley Rae Bostick; brother, George E. Bostick; granddaughter, Amelia P. Bostick; nephew, David LaMar Gunn; niece, Misty Powell. His mother-in-law, Vera Brown also passed away on Thursday. Survivors include his wife of 47 years, Patsy Brown Bostick; sons, Troy Bostick and wife Jennifer, Terry Bostick and wife LeaAnn, and Thad Bostick; sister, Betty Sue Gunn and husband Jesse; sisters-in-law, Patsy W. Bostick, Kathy King and husband Gerald, Vera Powell and fiancé Dennis Sims; brother-in-law, Steward Brown; grandchildren, Tara, Josh, Caleb, and Lindsey Bostick; nieces, Heather Finley, Ann Reeves, Becky Hamilton, Angela McCraw, and Tiffany Brown Meyers; and nephews, Byron Bostick, Wade Bostick, Chris Gunn, Jason Brown, Justin Brown, Eric Powell, Casey Powell, and Hank Hamilton, Jr. Pallbearers will be his nephews, Byron Bostick, Wade Bostick, Chris Gunn, Jason Brown, Justin Brown, Eric Powell, Casey Powell, and Hank Hamilton, Jr. Honorary pallbearers will be Berle Palmer, Louis George, Dr. Roy G. Clay, and the men of Campfire Campers.
