Interment will follow in Roselawn Memorial Gardens Cemetery in Calhoun, under the direction of Mulhearn Funeral Home, West Monroe. Nelda Virginia Boultinghouse was born on August 22, 1929 and passed away on May 2, 2015. She is survived by two sons & their wives, Denny & Philis of Franklin, TN and Randy & Ann, of West Monroe. She has three grandchildren, Casey (Denver), Niki (Denver) and Crystal (Los Angeles), and seven great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Harvey; a grandson, Jason; her two sisters Winnie Terry & Norma Jean Beaty; one brother, N.H. Knox. Nelda served as a nurse for over forty years. For over thirty of those years she served at Glenwood Hospital, where she was affectionately called "Miss B". She volunteered at Camp Ch-Yo-Ca for it's first ten years, where she was "Nurse Nellie" to the staff and campers. She was a faithful member of the White's Ferry Road Church of Christ since 1964. Pallbearers will be Billy Beaty, Jonathan Gregory, Gordon Dasher, Paul Stephens, Ryan Hammitt and Don Skinner. Honorary pallbearers will be Harold Davis, Buddy Boultinghouse, Leon Telford, Randy Stinson, David Eppinette, Lloyd Williams, Travis Sayers and Tommy Powell. Visitation will be held from 5:00 P.M. until 7:00 P.M., Tuesday, May 5, 2015 at White's Ferry Road Church of Christ in West Monroe. Memorials may be made to Camp Ch-Yo-Ca, P.O. Box 2010, West Monroe, LA 71294.
