JOE ANN GLOVER BOUTWELL

Funeral services for Joe Ann "Joan" Glover Boutwell will be held at 2:00 PM, 
Sunday, February 19, 2017 at Ouachita Baptist Church. Dr. Mike Holloway and 
Rev. Marshall Douglas will officiate. Interment will follow at Mulhearn 
Memorial Park under the direction of Kilpatrick Funeral Home West Monroe, 
LA.

Joan was born June 17, 1933 in Moscow, AR and passed away February 16, 2017 
in West Monroe, LA. She was a charter member of Ouachita Baptist Church. She 
was preceded in death by her husband, James A. Boutwell (Bill); parents, 
Charles and Lois Glover; sister, Betty Hough; brothers, Charles and Aubrey 
Glover; sisters-in-law; Verdale Glover and Mary Yates.

Joan Boutwell was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, aunt, sister, and 
friend to many. Devoted to her Lord and Savior, she loved to serve her 
family and church. Ouachita Baptist was her beloved church home for over 30 
years, and she and her husband were founding members. Working with the youth 
and cooking for her church and family were her passions, and she was 
excellent in what she did. She was loved and will be missed by many.

Joan is survived by her son; James Roger Boutwell and wife Martha; daughter; 
Selma Boutwell Garrett and husband Ronnie; sister; Evie Martin and husband 
Charles; sisters-in-law; Edna Glover and Christine Glover; brother-in-law, 
C. L. Hough; grandchildren; Kristie Manuel and husband Tim, Lori Dewald and 
husband John, Jamie Boutwell LeJeune and Mr. Big, Amy Garrett Hale and 
husband Kevin, Glynn Garrett and wife Jennifer, Kelly Garrett Williamson and 
husband Donald; great-grandchildren; Sydnie, Emma, Trevor, Jodie, Devin, 
Brianna, Jordyn, Jaxen, Jayden, Hannah, Ashley, Will, Cole, Drew, Emily, 
Garrett, Katie, Jasper and Wyatt; great-great-grandchildren; Aubrey and 
Landry; extended family and church family.

Pallbearers will be Glynn Garrett, Tim Manuel, Will Hale, Devin Dewald, Cole 
Garrett, Garrett Williamson, Trevor Manuel, and Donald Williamson. Honorary 
pallbearers will be John Dewald, Drew Garrett, Jasper Williamson, Jaxen 
Dewald, Jacob Pippin, Connor Mathews and Jaden Dewald.

Visitation will be held Saturday, February 18, 2017 from 5:00 PM until 7:00 
PM at Kilpatrick Funeral Home West Monroe.
