SISTER FLORENCE BOWERS

Funeral services for Sister Florence Bowers, of West Monroe, LA will be held at 
1:00 PM, Thursday, March 24, 2016 at Piney Grove Missionary Baptist Church in 
West Monroe. Rev. Lorenzo Price and Rev. Eddie Montgomery will officiate. 
Interment will follow at Richwood Memorial Gardens under the direction of 
Kilpatrick Funeral Home Monroe, LA.

Florence was born July 30, 1934 and passed March 20, 2016. Sister Florence 
Bowers was the daughter of Olia May Green Fair and Pete Fair of Ferriday, LA. 
She confessed Christ at an early age, and she joined Piney Grove Missionary 
Baptist Church. She was married to the late S.F.C. Rell Bower and was a 
businesswoman. Florence was preceded in death by her brother, Eugene Wall of 
Los Angeles, California.

She leaves to cherish her memory her sister, Ethel Hines of West Monroe; 2 
nieces, 3 nephews, and a host of cousins and friends.

Visitation will be held Thursday, March 24, 2016 from 12:00 PM until service 
time at the church.
