Friday, November 21, 2008 from the chapel of Riser Funeral Home in Columbia Interment will follow at the Beech Creek Cemetery in Olla. Visitation will be Thursday, November 20, 2008 from 5:00 P.M. to 9:00 P.M. at Riser Funeral Home in Columbia. Mrs. Boyett was born on February 4, 1928 in Crowville to the union of James Edward and Vera Maggie Chapman Herington and passed away on Tuesday, November 18, 2008 at St. Francis Medical Center in Monroe. Mrs. Boyett was a member of Woolen Lake Church of God in Hebert and a seamstress for Boyett and Sons Manufacturing Shop and retired from Selig's Manufacturing. She was also a member of the Steel Mill Worker's Union in Monroe. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband; Lee Roy Boyett, son; Donnie Melvin, Sr., daughter; Sally Ann Patrick, two brothers; James Daniel Herington and Curtis Bazel Herington and granddaughter; Jennifer Boyett. Survivors include three sons and daughters-in-law; Stevie Lee and Sabrina Boyett of Homer, Jerry and Kay Boyett of West Monroe and Duncan and Janet Boyett of Hebert, three daughters and sons-in-law; Judy and Robert Gambino of Monroe, Debbie and Charles Kenworthy of Hebert and Martha and Kenneth "Speck" Graham of Hebert, brother and sister-in-law; James Edward Jr. and Cleo Herington of Goldbeach, OR, sister; Vergie Brown of Monroe, twenty-six grandchildren, thirty-seven great grandchildren, four great great grandchildren and two special friends; JoAnn Welch and W.C. Sellers. Pallbearers will be Stevie Boyett, Jerry Boyett, James Powell, Jimmy Cotton, Kevin Patrick, Daren Patrick, Rusty Patrick and Mike Patrick. Honorary pallbearers are Lee Roy Boyett, Eddie Duchesne, Jackie Boyett and Ricky Wilson.
