Monroe, LA Funeral service for Mr. Willard Francis Boyle, 85, of Monroe, LA, will be held at 10:30AM Tuesday, September 29, 2009, at Jesus the Good Shepherd Catholic Church with Msgr. Edmund Moore and Rev. Mark Watson officiating. Interment will follow in St. Matthew Catholic Church Mausoleum under the direction of Mulhearn Funeral Home Sterlington Rd. Monroe. Mr. Boyle passed away on September 27, 2009 at St. Francis Medical Center. He was a Marine veteran of WWII where he served as a navigator and bombardier. Mr. Boyle was a member of the American Legion, Moose Lodge, and a former member of the Knights of Columbus. He worked and later retired from the Louisiana Department of Labor. Survivors include his wife of 54 years, Mary Nastasi Boyle; brother-in-law, Joe Nastasi, Jr. ; nephews, Downey Black and wife Deanne and Eric Black and wife Hilda; nieces, Stasi Brigmon and GeGe Roulaine-Fudickar and husband Bob; other nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews. Pallbearers will be Downey Black, Eric Black, Joe Nastasi, Jr., Michael Black, Cody Zaunbrecher, and Tony Tramontana. Honorary pallbearers will be John Cameron, Johnny Daryl Cameron, and Mitchell Miletello. Visitation will be from 5:00PM until 8:00PM Monday with a Vigil Wake service at 6:00PM at Mulhearn Funeral Home.
